On the Way to School
We have been learning how to write a set of instructions. We looked at various examples of written instructions and created our own set of success criteria.
We will be successful when:
- We have used a heading or title
- We have included a list of ingredients or materials
- We have listed our instructions step by step
- We have numbered our instructions
- We have used 'bossy' verbs
- Our instructions are clear and precise
In class this week we have made toast, banana milkshakes, pocket books and we have grown cress. We are becoming excellent instructional writers!
